If it Was Because of the Sea......

Then it would be okay to live life
within the faultlines of altered souls

As all the others walk by and leave you
wandering among the tides and shoals

Perhaps alone is alright after all as that is
from where man came and where man returns

And all the answers of life that the sea
knows and yet never reveals in turns

If the sea was a woman and left me in deserts
and never to see her again

If all there was after immersion was a broken
heart it would be okay to be friends

If it was because of the sea I could at least
come around to forgive myself ...for trying

And just because it is the sea .....I will understand
and lose this yearning before the dying

And the tides roll in again.....and again......and again

The sea is uncharted, unforgiving, loving and giving, filled with paradoxes that one can never truly see.

Beautifully written.

Oh you flatter me too much personally I think you have done a fantastic job with this piece. As or the sea, she is vast, I don't think there ever could be enough poems on her. :)

Aha The Elusive Sea

So many Treasures lie hidden beneath

The Magestic Beauty, swaying among the Coral Reef

Sunken Ships, full of memories, waiting, yet untold

Ahorseback they're waiting for their story to unfold

I know you will tell their story..........
