Poem: Part (3) If you are my Family
If you are my family, there can be no mistakes in love and understanding given the type of parents we inherited and under whose influence we grew up.
If you are my family there can be no mistake about what our mother and father can possibly want from their children because I am the youngest and I have seen it all quite clearly.
If you are my family you will understand that being family don’t make us all alike, but we should bear the resemblance of those individuals who have made the same journey to get here and though we won’t all see things the same way, as we grow, we would show some sort of identifying characteristics, that would make ourselves and our parents proud.
If you are my family you will be wise enough to understand some things about your origin, starting with your own parents and being able to take it as far back as your mind is capable to take you, eventually stopping at some kind of first, which you can say is the Most High God. Or at least be able to give you something in which you can believe in.
If you are my family you “must” understand what love is, as you will show to others after you have learned it from your parents and should be sitting ready to give back that same love, in every way possible, as needed if you may. Knowing that as you grow and show you can only then, reap what you have sown.
So if you are my family you won’t be surprised when you see things are not working out for you in life. You must be able to trace the source of your past blunder, and make all necessary efforts to humble yourself and correct it.
If you are my family there should be no need for hostility between us, you would have already know that I have abolished the ignorant days of family wars. This world is a huge place and with my departure from a warring family, it will be just what it is. " My departure'
I am determined to make my existence one of truth, and understanding of this life, that was given to me by the Most High God, through these same beautiful people that are my Mother and Father with such love and appreciation.
My family will should have the words to this song, sung her by none other than one of my favorite heroes, the Hon. Robert Nestor Marley. As he says:
“Every man got a right to decide his own destiny”
As I would first try to bring clarification to any situation that persists before my departure. But I would not hesitate to permanently from the sight of any inherited family that have chosen to be the poster children for that which I know can never prosper in this life. Things like arguments and quarrels, which Bob again went ahead and say , : Saying prayers to the Devil. My family must strive towards Honesty and Sincerity and love , especially for their own.
That is if you truly are my family!
