I'm Not Thinking About You

It has nothing to do with our feelings
It has nothing to do with our past
We can’t seem to cross the ocean
But hope is something that always lasts

Our hearts are stronger than our minds
They never give up no matter the distance
I can only talk to you in my dreams
But at least it’s some kind of existence

Sometimes we believe what’s not true
Something like…
You’re not thinking about me
And I’m not thinking about you

We’re gonna’ happen someday
I feel what you want me to feel
You’re not just amusement for me
You’re the only thing that is real

Sometimes we believe what’s not true
Something like…
You’re not thinking about me
And I’m not thinking about you

It’s like you’re on a long trip
Sailing through the lonely passages
I wait all day long for you
Then check the moon for messages

My favorite line: "Our hearts are stronger than our minds. They never give up no matter the distance" ~

This is a wonderful piece; lovely thoughts. Love is patient and kind but it can blind us; our minds can pretend but our hearts won't lie and will lead us back to the truth.

Voting up, beautiful and sharing!

Thank you CrisSp... I think everybody has had that long distance love or a longing at least once in their life...
