I'm not what you think I am

Its quite interesting how you've been staring at me

Looking into my glistening eyes

Trying and attempting to pin point a differential

The slightest moment of inertia

that defines who I really am deep down inside

For some reason you never could do it

You have no idea what I really am

Who or what designed me

What placed my thoughts into activation mode

How I am always able to adapt and over come your ways

Terrorizing me

torturing me

hating on my very existence

Its never made me shutter or want to change who I am

The universe was part reason why I was placed into position

I will not tip you off as to any other aspect of my design

Till you give up the desire to destroy who I appear to be

Only then will you truly get to know who I really am

This surely isn't me

I have said from the very beginning that your poetry is your best writing and this verifies that belief. How do we know Mike? Through writings like this. Well done, brother! It's always a pleasure to read your work...straight from the hip with no holds barred.

Have a great weekend my friend, and I'll do the same.

@Billybuc, thanks bro for checking it out, I had fun writing this one about a month back when I got back into writing again.

Yup Yup! its not easy to tell who's who even in person these days, because so many folks put on facades and disguises today. You know.

I agree. This could describe so many of us. It's hard to really and truly know another person. Great poem!

Hi Cloud Love the poem where someone never really got to know you. Then the pic really ads to the intrigue of the poem. Your poetry is so descriptive and honest. It makes me wonder if anyone really knows me. That could be an interesting discussion. Thanks for sharing. Cheers. Audrey

Love this poem. Went over it twice and tried looking into those eyes. Works for me. Creatively done.

@Gypsy Rose Lee, Glad you enjoyed this poem, I've always wanted to share my love for technology in a differing form. I'll try to do more like this in the future. Thanks for sharing!
