There's nothing so human upon this earth,

That gives us joy and shows our worth,

Whether in all seriousness, or just in mirth,

than the imaginative, to give all a birth.

Where in the world, would we each now be,

upon dry land, or creatures living in the sea.

Was not imagination conceived to inspire,

to create a new world, and us all to aspire?

From days of Magellan, who sailed the seas,

as astronauts travel to the moon with ease.

The inventiveness of so many intelligent minds,

was imagination a part, of their designs?

Who could foresee and wonder of this all,

to be possible to play in things, big and small,

Beyond all conception, it seems to be,

yet, as reality presented, for all, and is free..

Who could deny our children's fond thrills,

with our imagination, and what it all instills.

Cartoons and fairies, with beautiful rainbows,

gives such joy, as each learns and grows.

As together, we stand, enthralled by the sky,

on starlight nights, constellations, we spy,

Our thoughts race onward, into fond memories, saved,

as upon our brains, it's all engraved.

Images so kept and to be shared by our peers,

to foretell our lives, long before all disappears,

All honor and respect to those who've forged ahead,

to set the pace, as in history, is read.

The earth and other planets, amid stars in space,

requires the imagined, for us to embrace,

Should we all lose this inspirational gift,

perhaps no longer, our heads, all could lift.

Would we then be so lost, as without a trace,

except for this ability, a proven grace,

We can fly to the heavens with a future, oh so bright,

and within our minds, such a joyful flight.

The wild and free, the spirit within each man,

may surge to the forefront, when we understand,

Bring on new frontiers, in thoughts to have begun,

now's the time, for the human race to be run.

This is mine to share, all as products of my imagination and the spirit within, in the form of photographs, paintings, crafts, and cartoons, and writing; Imagination is mysterious, and a wonder for us all to explore.

Your poem is beautiful and speaks much our our creator and how creation is meant to inspire us through life. You have talent and your artwork is a reflection of your creative spirit and mind. Please do not let this be your last hub, you have so much to share.
