There is no greater introduction to love than kindness,
and the will to accept service as unencumbered giving.
Simple acts of kindness and consideration enliven hope,
that we have the potential to love, to be selfless,
and in caring, share the gift of life with humility.
Love grows from the seeds of kindness,
and deepens within a giving relationship,
each sharing and giving of themselves freely,
in the surrender of the ideal of love,
and celebrating a soul freed.
Other perceptions of love pale and eventually fade,
while kindness, compassion and sharing,
feed the soul and nourish a loving heart,
to live life within the radiance of love’s intent.
For it is the humbled soul that defines a life,
inspires all who witness that joy and freedom,
imparted in the gift of being,
without pretence, without compromise.
In humility we dispel arrogance and adopt serenity,
a calm and considered life driven by love,
and sharing our experience and understanding.
Love is the action of humility,
selflessness and sacrifice the surrender of ego.
