Wistful moments of reflection,
imbued thoughts of love’s tender passage,
fill my mind with gratitude,
and the knowledge of being held compassionately,
selflessly and truly loved.
Like a breeze of tranquillity,
love concedes its intent,
to all who surrender to it
in a vow of truth.
Love reveals all to open hearts,
to those who see beyond the self,
beyond will and pain,
who imbibe the just and passionate ways
of a loving heart.
In ways beyond understanding,
we are guided to ends,
given reigns to mark our way,
as we seek love within hostility,
within the dark dilemma of choice.
In ways not yet defined,
love transforms us,
brings us closer to our soul,
our divine spark of beginnings and ends.
The purity of love
cleanses us, just to realise our potential,
and to offer hope within darkness,
within a contentious world of harm.
In ways I can understand,
love answers my seeking mind,
and opens my reticent souls to truth.
