Just another poem - Our Voices Day 10

Infinity

Thoughts racing out the window
Dripping like water from a runny nose
Drunkard wine eyes and spiral cerebral mind frames
Displayed on the wall as dart boards to score another bulls eye
The chambers of commerce are filled to the brim with anticipation

Alone!

Awaiting our day of infamy of noise and chatter to have its chance
Spinal chords attached to membranes
detached from their machine mainframes
This is the true paradox paradise like
parading into parallel directions due to pure hype

The mice of men and women playing hockey to win truth or dare
Gambling with their babies milk money
Cyber slot games and casino thought processing is all they see now
as their shadows once graced the presence of the earthly terrain
Now are a mere memory for all our naturalistic ways have faded away

No Doubt!

The global take over by digital Storm as bot programs recode our pathways
Seeking another chance to play the Game of Life virtually
Monopoly brick and mortar brain powers free falling till they
all..... hit..... ground.... zero!
Not focusing on their watch towers
No self defense mechanisms for us no bodies, frozen stiff bodies

Commoners!

Where are we all headed with this shit! Today...........................................

Infinity..........................................

I do not usually vote Awesomes but when I do I vote them for you. I would venture to say that something lit up inside you when you were writing this.

I was lucky to catch it quick. My day is made better.

True art. Well done.

Mike, this is you at your best. When you turn on the aferburners and let it all fly in poetry form you are hitting homeruns. Beautiful work my friend....took me back to the coffee shops of the 60's and the free form poetry I heard back then, a single man stirring the masses into action and deep reflection. Well done buddy!

Thanks @Ericdierker, I just wrote it up on Facebook the other day, it didn't get much love there so I decided to cut and past it here, and remove it from the location it once resided. I'm so glad it was enjoyable for you to read.

@billybuc, thanks bro I thought I was trapped in the Matrix again always LOL and before writing it of course. I'm happy you liked this poem.

I will try to make a video poem out of it, and share the audio version onto SoundCloud soon so many more folks can locate it, share it or whatever they do on those networks, and we shall see how it fairs off there and elsewhere. You are to cool bro! :)

@bravewarrior, thank you so very much Brave, I took a long break from writing and this poem was just a needed release of mine there onto FB about a week ago, I'm glad you liked it.

Thank you so much Ruby, I'm trying to unite poets and writers worldwide, and it will take a miracle to pull this one off, but its well worth a try to do it for the sake of trying to help humanity.

@PDXKaraokeGuy, thanks bro I dug deep into the core of what I felt at the time and this baby popped out, man oh man such labor pains did indeed hurt, but I'm glad its here and hope more folks can enjoy it as you have and many others.
