Into My Hero's Arms- A Poem

Into My Hero's Arms

Crying forever at the edge of a cliff

The urge to fall forever in my mind,

My body falls stiff

To the fears within time.

Knowing not what to do, life has been so dead

I stumble at words to say.

My final words be said

To my death bed I go lay.

But what's that I hear?

A voice in the distance.

Is it his I hear?

I fight to listen.

Oh dear Lord! It is his

Deep comforting voice from afar.

I run into my hero's arms, all his.

And wish upon that star.

Let this last oh mighty one.

Let the happiness last.

If it goes I am gone

And life will be my past.
