It Is The Ocean

Beautiful Galway Bay
Beautiful Galway Bay

It Is The Ocean

It is the mist
that clouds the mind
by the ocean this clear day

It is the sun
that warms the face
when rising to the morning wake

To see the child
that holds the hand
in loving arms along the sand

It is the oceans
soft playing tune
reminds me of my love for you

And singing gulls
bark hungry calls
towards the oceans sparkling glaze

Old memories soak
the fragrant sea breeze
to touch a smile upon your face

It is the beauty
of the Monet sky
the rising sun the playful child

The flamenco heart
of the beating waves
a haunting voice a seas lament

I think of her
upon the shore
and when we'll meet and what we'll say

To lift the mist
that clouds the mind
by the ocean this clear day.

Sweet love poem, I love monet, I used to see monet skylines after I had been to see his exhibition or visit a painting at the university gallery. It was amazing, it was as the world around me had become a monet painting.
