Janie got the manual last night

Janie got the manual last night

She wanted to make everything came out all right

Janie got the manual last night

Janie read the manual last night

Janie read the manual last night

She stayed up reading that book until the early light

Janie read the manual last night

Janie started working on that thing

Janie started working on that thing

She tried hard to give make it a real authentic thing

Janie started working on that thing

Janie built that thing up really tall

Janie built that thing up really tall

She took it in the living room via the bedroom hall

Janie built that thing up really tall

Janie took a whack at it tonight

Janie took a whack at it tonight

The thin and flimsy cardboard put up one tremendous fight

Janie took a whack at it tonight

Janie threw that thing away tonight

Janie threw that thing away tonight

She felt good at giving it one big awful fright

Janie threw that thing away tonight

Now I'm intrigued, or am I just dumb - what was it?

@BlossomSB - You're not dumb. I left it vague on purpose, although there is a specific point I was making. In one sense I hate to explain my stuff because I think one of the great pleasures of art (even as minor as mine) is the ability of people to bring their own sense and experience to it. I'm thinking about it. Thank you for your comment! I love that anyone reads these things!

It means someone obsessed with making something come out right and then getting it done incorrectly and throwing it away. An allegory of someone's life and failing miserably at it.
