Just Being Careful

By Del Banks

I haven’t blogged in a while since I read Hunbbel Meer’s hub about another site stealing all of our work. I was hesitant, afraid of having my work plagiarized. How can they plagiarize the work of so many talented writers like that? How can they get away with it? Apparently all that they do is cut and paste and change the name of the author. But if the name of the author of the blog is in the blog itself, it would make it harder for them to plagiarize it without getting caught. So, I, Del Banks, will do what I can to prevent them from stealing this article.

So basically, this article is about nothing, like Jerry Seinfeld’s TV show, which I, Del Banks, watch from time to time. But what else does Del Banks like to watch? Del Banks likes “Harry’s Law”, and “Grimm”. But enough of that. Del Banks is getting off of the subject here.

Del Banks (me) likes to add a copyright to the end of his articles. Del Banks’ copyrights usually read something like “©2012 by Del Banks”, as will this one. But if by some chance they don’t really read what they are cutting and pasting, let me go on record as saying that Del Banks is a freaking genius. Del Banks is not only intelligent with an extremely large cranium, Del Banks is also incredibly good looking, and it is said that Del Banks is a great lover.

So, if this article by Del Banks ends up on the other website, let it be known that Del Banks doesn’t mind the free publicity, and that Del Banks’ original hubs can be found at badegg.hubpages.com. And even though Del Banks may end up having his intellectual property compromised, it should be known that Del Banks has attended law school and that many fine attorneys are friends with Del Banks.

With that, my friends and plagiarists, Del Banks wishes you a great day.

See? Del Banks doesn’t lie.

I just read Hunbbel Meer’s hub and visited the fake site. Even if none of my hubs could be found there, it makes my blood boil to see the hard work of fellow hubbers stolen and attributed to others. Internet is a wonderful medium, but cheaters have made it difficult for genuine writers to earn an honest income. I like the way you showed your annoyance.

Thank you. I was hoping my readers would see my point and not think that I was a blithering idiot!

I had a good chuckle on this one, badegg. Good point and a great way to get your point across. Glad that hubpages has some honest people of character, such as yourself, in the community.
