Lame Limericks

Lame Limericks

Despite her good looks and charms

and evenings full of empty arms;

she’d rather complain

of her aches and pain,

and summers surveying farms!

Now the summer finally came,

when despite being lame

a young buck saw her virtues,

and would all her hugs choose,

but she didn’t feel his flame.

When out in the garage

He offered a massage,

“a full body, head to toe.”

she felt she couldn’t say “No.”

Her aches and pains he discharged.

Now her looks and sweet charms

Are filling his strong arms.

Her aches and pains seem away.

His farm her place now to stay,

complaining of the kids' swarms.

A boy and five girls....so far!

Dana Tate - I sure am glad you enjoyed this one. Have a Happy 4th of July! Perhaps all the fireworks will bring on the rain?

I like the second last one best Demas. They are not lame at all but likeable.

Kate - We are not lame at all, and hopefully likeable, too! Are you on your laptop now? Only one "d" in your comment, so I'm not sure. ;-D
