I stopped walking and looked back once
at you ...... ..surrounded by yours
The moonglow on the flowers
the porch roof shading your
If only the moon glow was the warmth
that it resembled
I would not leave
And what of me
within that twisting of the wires
I pulled away
unwillingly as though
born for solitude
Because thats what loners do ........
but in the box with the open
bottom I leave all
that you gave
And that seems to have been my way
from the beginning
