Life's Playground.

Good day one and all ;well what a beautiful sunny day we have and after so much bad weather it is so very welcome I can assure you.

One of the greatest pleasures in my life is to watch my grandchildren playing with their laughter echoing all around.

However playgrounds are not just for little ones oh no life has its very own playground for us adults too.

Simply allow that child in you to arise and look at the word around with a different view. I hope you enjoy today's hub.

Acrostic: Life's Playground.

Life's playground
I share with thee
Flowing into eternity
Endless treasures
Sweet impressions
x
Pretence ne'er allowed
love so sweetly
a time to share
young at heart
gyrating to life's musical joys
reflections of mirth
oh how wondrous life is
under that moon of love
never ending playmates
dare to laugh, dare to live.

Rhyme: Sometimes.

Source
Sometimes the world won't smile
Sometimes the sea doesn't flow
Sometimes the sun doesn't shine
My pain I do not show.
-xx-
Sometimes the birds don't sing
Sometimes they don't even fly .
Sometimes rainbows won't shine
My heart just will not cry.
-xx-
Sometimes stars don't twinkle
Sometimes the moon is sad.
Sometimes shadows just linger.
My heart sees all that's bad.
-xx-
Today that darkness did lift
Today my vision so clear
Today my voice rejoices
My heart now holds no fear.

Freeverse:Colours heartfelt.

My colours hearfelt
Each union so charged with love
Learn from my spirit.
The seas of my life.
I give you the sea
To mend each sad and torn heart
It's soothing balm heals.
Magical beauty.
Awesome hues excite
The winds of change do entice
Trust and you will win.

My songbird I give to you.
Beautiful magic
That songbird's magnetised tune
Fills all hearts with joy.
Purity.
As white as the snow
Origins so very deep
True virginal heart.
Winds.
Many winds disturb
But they will never conquer
Each so strong spirit.
Heartbeats.
Shimmering heartbeats
Each beat like cupid's arrow
Will work their magic.

Rhyme: The Stars So Serene.

Source
The stars are so serene
In the sky by night.
They shine so clearly
And make my world bright !!

x
The moon works her magic
And charms us all.
Each and every night
it's magic does fall.

x

The sun shines warmly
In the sky each day.
It keeps my heart happy
Come what may.

x

The soft clouds embrace
Softening each day.
They look warm and cosy
Cushioning my way.

x

The skies are so blue
And makes my heart sing.
We must be thankful
For each joy it does bring.

x

My world is so fulfilled
My days are so joyous.
I thank for each gift
That is free and wondrous.

x

Look upwards to the angels
And thank for each day.
Put your faith in their care
And they will light your way.

Rhyme:Nature's Paintbrush.

Nature stroked a paintbrush
Onto a canvas so bare
The world she created
And gave to us to share.
x
First the green grass
So soft and with ease
Next are the trees
Waving in the breeze.
x
Now the blue skies
So clear and so blue
The cotton wool clouds
How beautiful she drew.
x
She then scattered raindrops
Around the bright sun
With a wondrous rainbow
Her work nearly done.
x
Above that rainbow
A heavenly sight
Angels with wings
So pure in white.
x
Man's greed took over
To turn the skies grey
Let's begin again
Simply follow Nature's way.

Freeverse: To The Land Of Roses.

Please follow me
to my land of red roses.
Blooms bewitch
my heart.
My soul sings
out loud
my spirit so complete
the door to
my life
wide open
never will I be closed;
locked and no intrusion.
My spirit also shines
 in magical glory
each nook and crevice,
softened so freely !!
Each path
once so pitted
so crumbled,
today lie under
petals of
 the angels.
No more heavy
 hearts
 to follow
to
 take that hushed tone
 and a heart so full,
innocent and true.
 A sweet
and
unassuming
 strength ;
life's paths
a little gentler.
Life's trees
will sway
into the breeze !!
Reminds me
of a rope ladder
swaying to and fro;
 up and down.
At times
 a slow and
gentle tempo;
at others ;
strong and heartfelt.
Tempestuous,
unsteady
and in an
almost
pure blend
flowing,
growing
in true form .
A strong
 and pure
heart
surrender not.
The storm once more
 fading in stillness,
tones hushed protected
The storm brings forth
a Garden of Eden,
each surrounding
magical gem
colours of beauty
gently travel
over a canvas so bleak
and so untouched!
Let us travel ;
I will lead you
to your destiny
and into

the Earth's beauty
you will tenderly
 and
softly blend

into life's playground.

Life is so much better when we see it through the eyes of that child which is within us. Again, beautiful poetry and fantastic images.

I loved the intro video, that song and the background went perfect together. As usual I also loved your images, and your words, there are no words for them. Yes there are - they were lovely. I always feel the child within me but I usually only let it out when I am watching the birds. :-)

(Now I know where your beautiful poems com from.)

I like the idea of a giant playground for us adult. Life can be fun and we have to try to keep it that way as much as possible.

Thank you for reminding us that, Eddy! It's always a pleasure to read your poetry. And as always, I love your work on the pictures :-)

Enjoy your weekend!

I now look forward to your comments my friend especially as they come from another nature lover. I learnt so much from Mother Nature as a child and this has always stayed with me and the child to this day is never far from the surface. Here's to so many more hubs for us both to share on here.

Eddy - I love your acrostic poem for “l-i-f-e-s—p-l-a-y-g-r-o-u-n-d”! What fun!

I love each poem, but, along with Shauna, “Nature’s Paintbrush” steals my heart, especially the first verse:

“. . . Nature stroked a paintbrush

Onto a canvas so bare

The world she created

And gave to us to share . . . “

That is so lovely and I read it while listening to my all-time favorite rendition of “It’s A Beautiful World”! It really truly IS! Of course, your lovely, creative, cheering graphics are a delight, as well!

Your poetry just gets better and better!

Thank you and my votes for this!

Dear Eddy, What a beautiful hub--through the eyes of the child within. It's a great reminder to stop and really experience all that is around us. I especially love the collage of the starry night sky and the woodland within; also the butterfly that is so free! Awesome as always, my friend ;) Pearl
