What makes thee so sad, Fair Maid?

There once was a gal from New York City

Noted for the fact that she’s so pretty.

I wondered why,

I saw her cry.

Her apartment allows her no kitty.

Very interesting lol. She cries because she wants a kitty or sad because she's lonely and needs a kitty? I guess the interpretation is up for grabs. It was fun reading that, Perspycacious. Always a pleasure,

-Aubrey.

If you discovered how I sign my limericks you'll see how difficult this can be

To Limerick Lovers everywhere, here is a challenge: the first line of your Limerick, should you choose to write one, is

"There once was a gent from Xanadu"

Now see what you can come up with!

A very good limerick!

Hi Perspycacious

So sad that they won't let her have a kitty. I have never written a limerick. I am going to see what I can do.

Voted up and awesome.

Take care :)

Sueswan - Please refer me to a limerick that came out of this one. Did you attempt the challenge?

unknown spy - Thanks for the read some years back. Are you still an "unknown"? Certainly not while here on HP.

Mhatter99, CrazedNovelist , Sueswan, unknown spy, snowdrops -It's been a while, since I last made you smile, and perhaps you're not even around. (It's true that Hubs do abound. ) I've created more of these, your laughter to tease. So I'll see what you've written, my conscience justly smitten, as to why you've read no more of these.
