Living to run free and wild

Running in the open air

So free as a agile bird up there

High in the clouds of life

loving the moment over that of strife

elated feelings lifting me up again

Flipping to thy souls musical trend

Giving back to nothingness

With pure energy bursts into somethingness

Floating on a higher plane

Skies now mine a new thrown to claim

Escaping the planar views of living grounded

Amazing grace of my bodly movements componded

Flipping free as a seagul

diving for the next catch like an eagle

Swopping over roof tops

That lofty love of feeling on top

Voted up and awesome. This is just fantastic. Was imagining skateboarders doing their flips and turns. We seem to be on the same wave lengths in regards to being inspired by being free and wild. Loved this and passing it on. Pearled it as well.

Incredible....and excellent job of capturing it all with your words. Oh, to be young again, Mike. :)

Have a great weekend my friend.

@Gypsy Rose Lee, yes indeed I sensed the same thing what is so very weird is that your recent poem is very similar to my new story line poetry, and I began writing it on a whim about 2 weeks ago. I was blown away by your poem as well, and since it was such a positive and freeing one to read as well.

Thanks for the hub loving support here for mine and for sharing as you do with me all the time. You are super awesome Rasma.

@billybuc, Thanks Bill I know the feeling very well, because I'm somewhere in between and wish for my youth to remain forever too, but we all grow wiser and wiser as a fair exchange I guess LOL.

You have a good one too budd.

Thanks Wayne, its what I feel while watching them cool dudes perform them amazing stunts, and its a new way for me to interact and form this sort of spiritually releasing poetry. I didn't realize what it would do before writing it though, and I'm so happy you enjoyed this poem, thanks for sharing.

I'm sure this describes exactly how my son felt while performing extreme stunts on his skateboard when he was younger!

Cool poem. Voted up +++ and sharing

God bless, Faith Reaper

Thanks @Faith Reaper, I use to skateboard years back as a youth and yup it does sure feel like this, totally free to fly up high in the airways.

"Giving back to nothingness". This is the toughest phrase I have heard in a while.

Keep looking up to the heavens, Mikey - not down into the gutter!

Suck the LIFE out of LIFE!

Beautiful and inspirational..

Thanks @Deborah Brooks, LOl I loved skateboarding too as a youth, my mother however was so scared because I used to be so accident prove. Luckily the only thing I got hurt while doing it was my elbow, while flying up and down a half pipe ramp. Crazy times indeed :) I so do miss them, felling so fresh and so free.

@rasta1, thank you bro! I dug deep for such a thought process and after placing it into action I took a double take myself. Interesting that you pointed such a fact out about that particular line, not many folks would catch the subliminal message encoded into it.

Thanks for the hub loving support and for sharing my good friend.

@ImKarn23, Hey Leslie, you know the gutter is where I grew up at, and today I reside somewhere in between that and a much harder place indeed.

We all have our strengths and our mental weaknesses for sure, and I hope to be able to take flight someday soon, oh yes indeed. Maybe to Africa to the Sahara desert or to Japan, maybe even to North Korea, maybe I can influence them to stop playing war games with the US LOL :)

Open and free, wild as it should be! Unrestricted, boundless like the poetry that describes it. Awesome work!
