I have a passion for life, and a zeal for understanding the depths of human nature.

Lord, open the windows of heaven

And pour out a blessing I cannot contain

As I sing

Laugh

Dance

And rejoice

Let it rain

Let it rain

Let it rain

Oh, open the windows of heaven

Carry my voice to the God who reigns

When praises go up

The blessings come down

Let it rain

Let it rain

Let it rain

Lord, I need your blessings

Lord, I need it now

Please rain down your mercy

Squeeze rain from the clouds

I'll dance in the rain until I'm literally soaked

And your blessings flow

Like pure liquid gold

Lord, open the windows of heaven

And pour down a blessing my heart can't contain

And I'll sing

I'll dance

I'll weep

And, rejoice

Let it rain

Let it rain

Let it rain

Oh, open your windows in heaven

As my praises soar

Let your blessings pour

Yes, when praises go up

The blessings come down

So, let it rain

Let it rain

Let it rain

Why You Should Keep Praising Through The Storm.

It's easy to praise when things are going well but during your storm praising can be a challenge. During financial troubles and relationship struggles, praise can be stolen due to worry. It takes strength to praise in the storm and dance in the rain.

Praising during your storm says:

"I may not understand Lord, but I trust you."

Dancing in the rain says:

"Even if my enemy has taken everything else, he can't have my joy!"

Whenever I was feeling my lowest people would say to me "just praise Him." My thoughts were why. Why should I praise when I'm not feeling well, sometimes I just didn't have it in me to praise. Then I realized that praise releases chemicals in the brain that brings healing to the soul because we were created for this purpose.

Every tear you shed is a seed. And, every praise you send out into the universe rains down and water those seeds. In your season, you will reap a bountiful harvest. You shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that bring forth fruit in its due season (psalms 1-3)

Lord, I pray that whoever reads this, and understands it, be blessed. Amen.
