Lost But Not Forgotten

Lost But Not Forgotten

Lost but not forgotten in the hollows of my heart,
lie memories begotten that became so much a part...
You linger there in shadows in the chambers of my soul...
Your essence ever tangos, bittersweetly, to cajole.
And though the roads we travel, once singular and true,
appear to now unravel, the result of fate's ado...
embrace the joy of sharing that our hearts walked hand in hand...
and know that beyond caring, we are bound by sacred strand.
Though lost, you're not forgotten in the hollows of my heart...
through memories begotten... you will for always be a part.

This feeling right here has visited me a few times! There has been only one person that has owned my heart and he dropped it too many times so I sent him away and lost him, I love him still but I will not show it because it will open that door of pain and I wish to not relive what I have left in the past so I lost him but I will not forget him!! Thanks Tnder! For taking me down a tiny little path that I once loved!!

smiles :)

Ahhhh, bella, Girl...This is a path I try and avoid, and yet it remains a path that whispers...lost but not forgotten lives on...again, I am happy it is you who reads first and comments...you are a great poetic barometer for me! I love you for that! Blessings!

I believe that with all my heart...I think we each individually and collectively bring to fruition the greatness and the depth in each other. It is a beautiful thing!

Ahhhhhhh, the "stinging kiss" of lost love. Makes one wonder if I too, will ever be looked upon with such reverance and bring forth a smile and a bit of a warm feeling from a remembered thought. -Paul

FaithDream, thank you. Tnderhrts are often wounded, for they are tender, indeed...but...I would choose this above all... I so thank you for your sweet words!

Yet another tender poem my friend that reaches out and touches you. I think this one will resound with many people on many levels for so many have a love of one kind or another that has had its own share of, good and also painful memory's.

This piece brings back some lost romantic loves I once had, we moved in the shadows together, lit the candles, turned out the lights, sipped our fine wine and whispered to each others spirits then faded away into the mist only to find another and repeat it all over again, lost and found. I loved this tender poem.
