Lost In A Kiss (poem)
What started as a simple kiss
Would turn two saner minds amiss
To leave the world they knew behind
In search of some forgotten bliss
-
To drift in clouds they were resigned
Not caring what they there would find
For all they know that too must go
So other dreams can roam their mind
-
Soon paradise was in their throw
With melodies of long ago
When time would pass so patiently
And happiness was in its flow
-
But first there came a crystal sea
That sparkled in a memory
Of thoughts which might have strayed this way
An odd familiarity
-
What passion holds them in its sway
And carries fate so far away
Will there be a star this night
To guide them back to join the day
-
But as they drifted through their plight
They though a kiss might set things right
There was one fact they did dismiss
It’s was the start of this delight
