Love Entered Sweetly in my Soul. A Sonnet. To Bravewarrior (Shauna L Bowling)

Love Entered Sweetly in my Soul. A Sonnet

I hopped like one gone mad,

Praising, dancing, singing, to the music of my Lord.

Over ferns; through foliage,

‘Cross Parks and meadows too,

Playing on their vinas,

Celestial minstrels dance in blue.

I, a helpless child was heard,

My Soul a soaring bird.

Whate’er I touched was Love Delight,

My nimble feet now glowing Light.

I sang with glee through fire and coal,

Love now my only Goal.

My cute Lover had just gently,

Entered sweetly in my Soul.

Wow, manatita, imagine my surprise when I saw this title! I'm honored and I love the purple mountain at the top. Purple's my favorite color!

Your poem is beautiful and inspiring. Thank you for this lovely tribute.

So, not only have you paid tribute to an amazing lady but it's an amazing tribute.

Nimble feet and singing with glee certainly make this a light poem that shows love.

Voted up, awesome, and beautiful.

Another sonnet to be proud of. Are you finding little secrets that the sonnet hides every time you write one? I hope you are doing well. Jamie

bravewarrior, the pleasure is all mines. I'm so delighted that you like it! Thank you for accepting and for your sweet comment. I appreciate it very much. Much love.

Audrey, coming from an exquisite poet such as your good self, means a lot to me. Thank you so much. In Love and Light.

Joyfulcrown, so good to see you and welcome. I appreciate your loving contribution.

Jamie, Happy New Year Bro. In answer to your question, Hehehe :)

Seriously one of these three came in the early hours of the morning, in between sleep and wakefulness, and the other disturbed my a.m meditation. The third was an answer to GM Williams, I believe on What is Love.

I am naturally intuitive and esoteric and so what halfway through the answer, it felt so good that I was inspired to turn some of it into poetry. So those are the secrets. I reshaped two of them in Heidleberg but then it's a spiritually charged setting, and I was pretty 'high.'

P.S. Don't worry. No drugs. Hehe. Good to talk to you, Bro.

Hehe Ruby, so Nadine was your Friend! I thought so. Thanks for your continued support. Peace ...much

The Lantern-carrier is an apt pen name. I soared with you upon the gentle breeze and out of this world to a land of peace.

Hehe ...

You noticed! I'm so glad. Perhaps I'll use it in my book. Tried it as a change from Bard of Solace at Poetry Café. The Compere was like 'Kingsley,' then Bard of Solace and now Lantern-Carrier. He prefers my Christian name and appeared displeased. Didn't respect it either, when he announced me later.

Here's a quick story. I did a poem here called The Sad Face of War. Such a powerful poem! The lady Compere said it had very little to do with solace. OK. But it has everything to do with 'awakenings,' inspirations, inspiring the Light within. All my poems are like that. In this case, Lantern-Carrier would have been better, as it has a broader use. Sorry to waffle.

Deb you're great and good as usual, and fast becoming a super-excellent poet yourself. I wish you continued beauty and greater Light.
