Love Knot

You are my love knot

That I know is true

You're always there

When I most need you

Souls bonded into one

Our hands grab tight

Energy runs through us

Never stopping flight

The love between us cannot compare

To the strength of the knot that we share

I know I am never alone

Having you there

Our love intertwines in many spirals

Running deep

Through and through

It never stops

And is undying

That I know is true

Our love is never ending

Having no beginning

Never stopping

Having no end

Wonderfully portrayed in such beauty. Finding the meaning behind what has always been is such a journey in itself. Touching and full of light. Beautiful and up...

You said it with that one-- it never stops, no end. What beautiful words. I wish that for everyone.

Awesome poem I felt every word here as the very love sensation unfolded onto my eyes in worded form.

I too am tied up in a unendurable knot of love with my wife. Voted up, and thanks for sharing such awesome talent.

Such a sweet love poem. I read many love poems that just try to define love in vain, yours is a true beauty, and solidifies the fact that love needs no definition.

i like the use of the twisted iron/chrome nail signifying that even beautiful things and people can find themselves in trouble and tied up in knots when it comes to love and even though things can be shiny and pretty on the outside but the inside can be hard and unmoving as iron. Well done to connect it all together.

I might be wrong but if nothing else its an interesting take wouldnt you say....( you see C this is what i do because i just may not get the poetry) yoou make the call..

@ Senoritta thank you that is truly a compliment!

@ Thank you Always. It's great to see you!

@ Hi Tom is that a twisted nail? LOL. I didn't know what it was. I thought was a ring, but now that I look at it, it does look like a nail! That's an awesome analogy that you used. I love it! I dunno Tom maybe there's a little poet in you! I think you do get poetry Tom that was the point and I was also saying the love knot never ends and is constantly flowing never stopping. Thanks for your entertaining comments as always.

@ Gypsy thank you! I'm glad you liked it.

carolinemd21, A heartfelt poem suffused with love!

The imagery recalls for me the endless knots which prevail throughout Celtic and Tibetan art. To find such a love is a true gift!

Thank you for sharing this eternal, endless love knot!
