Love Lived Well

Love Lived Well

I don't know
whose right or wrong
and I don't sing
religion's song...
I try to live
a life of Love
and place my faith
in God above,
and do my best
to share His Light,
to seek out good
and do what's right.
I'll leave debate
to those that will,
whose arguments
are vintage swill...
I abide by truth
that lives to tell
the Golden Rule
is Love lived well.

Stay true to yourself and treat others as you would like to be treated. Cliches i know but good ones. Good deeds go a long way too, i practice them often. Cheers

Why is God above? Why do people choose to believe that created the world? Is it so they can have someone to blame? Why do we choose to believe the dream we live is reality and and then refuse to take responsibility for its creation? Does someone else dream your dreams at night? Then why have you conjured up a God to dream your waking day? It is our duty to use the mind that creates this illusion to find a way to wake up. The separation we imagine between ourselves and God does not exist only in the mind. It is the ego that seeks to keep us separate and and does so by keeping God safely above where we imagine he looks on as we destroy ourselves and the world we imagine He created.

A very thought provoking poem. Thank you.
