You give me cause to question who I am,
and how I can be a better man,
a man worthy of your love,
worthy of your trust and hopes,
your fragile heart within the palms of my hands.
Hurt, a familiar antagonist,
still haunts your thoughts,
yet you dare to love,
to embrace the potential of a broken heart.
You embrace courage and the freedom of mind,
to seek the truth and a positive world,
to relinquish the harm of past
and to accept love freely.
You fulfil my mind,
quench my thirst and soothe my pain,
your love my transformation.
How I have lived without you
escapes my reason.
You stand by my side and I am full,
at rest within harsh realities,
and at peace with myself.
Now I have found you,
my quest is certain,
my happiness sure.
I will soothe your pain,
fulfil your dreams
and share the burdens of life,
break away from all that has been
and conquer new lands.
Together, we are transformed,
together, it is our time,
