Loving For All Eternity

Cemetery dark and gloomy

sounds here, there and everywhere

wind whispering through the trees

shimmering in the silvery light of the moon

shadows beckoning come to me

and let me be free

but the Lords and Ladies

that are now lying

cold as stone

in their tombs

beneath the ground

were once vibrant

with life and love

and now their souls

continue to love in heaven above

on a windy night

when dark clouds

play with moonbeams

look up toward the twinkling stars

you can see them dancing

there still.....

for love never dies

and lovers never lose sight of one another

to another dimension they fly

and on dark, dark nights

if you wander through gravestones

you can hear what they whisper

their passionate words to each other

as they play hide and seek

in the moonlight

for never is there a lonely spirit

another always flies beside

imagine them holding hands

flying through the night

for their kisses never lose passion

and love’s embers

glow for all eternity

I love the idea of lovers whispering sweet nothings beyond the grave. However, I'd be more than a little freaked out if I heard them in a dark cemetery!

Have to agree with you Shauna. This came as an inspiration late in the night.
