Title: "You Are More Than Enough" Verses based on my personal life.

>>Intro

(You don`t) need to be

A polished diamond

To start shinning

>>Verse 1

There was a time

My heart was acheing

Sadness was my name

And all I talked about was pain

Until one day I learnt

There is nothing wrong with me

Just a diamond in the rough

That had been wronged

Don`t reject yourself

Don`t listen to the lies

>>Pre-Chorus

(you don’t) need to be

A polished diamond

To start shinning….

>>CHORUS

JUST BELIEVE

You are wonderful, wonderful,

YES YOU ARE

Beautiful, beautiful,

AS YOU ARE

JUST BELIEVE….

you are, more than enough!

>>Verse 2

There was a time

My mind was sprayed black

Indulged in self-pity

And I was in emotional torment

Until one day I learnt

There is nothing wrong with me

Just a diamond in the rough

That had been wronged

Don’t reject yourself

Don’t listen to the lies

>>Pre-Chorus

(you don’t) need to be

A polished diamond

To start shinning…

>>CHORUS

JUST BELIEVE

You are wonderful, wonderful,

YES YOU ARE

Beautiful, beautiful,

AS YOU ARE

JUST BELIEVE….

You are more than enough!

>>Bridge

I know healing can take forever

But in the meantime

I`m gonna love & accept myself, completely

Because….

(I don’t) need to be

A polished diamond

To start shinning...

Beautiful poem of encouragement and truth! We are beautiful and the sooner we understand it, the happier we will be for sure in this life. We are all each unique and that is how we are created to be. Wouldn't it be a boring world if we were all alike!

Up and more and sharing

Blessings, Faith Reaper

That is so inspiring.

Yes, we are diamonds in the rough. And it takes a lot of pressure before that diamond can "come forth." So next time, when we see a piece of coal, don't toss it aside as nothing, it's just a diamond in the rough waiting on the pressures of life to bring it out!
