Poem: Man is just a Bubble of Water

Source

I’m baffled by this world’s charter,

Man is just a bubble of water,

And when in water on the flowing surface,

There is a phase – a preface,

He drowns, he bursts, and he bows,

Then he rises, and then again he flows,

He comes in childhood, in teenagehood, in adulthood

And more so in personhood, yet no one ever understood,

There lies a concealed peculiar wonder,

He is not afraid of storm or thunder,

Neither could the sea swallow him,

Nor could the annals abolish him,

And he sings in cadence an Eternal song,

Flowing on the waves of time all night long,

I’m baffled by this world’s charter,

Man is just a bubble of water.

That was a different way to describe a man for sure. It was good though. unique. I liked your poem. :)

I like this poem and the concept that "man is just a bubble of water". That isn't far from the truth actually as our body is mostly water. Very well thought out poem. Voted up.

Beuatifully written, Surabhi. Love the analogy of man so vulnerable as a bubble. I wrote a poem hub about this myself. Nicely done, thanks for sharing. Voted up and interesting.

That's the truth indeed inspite of all the ruckus man creates. Well composed, Surabhi!
