Fight or Flight (and I'm tired of, and sick from, fleeing)
When duty's call compels the fall
delayed some seven years
by all those broken promises
and aggravated fears -
so deliberate in their cruelty,
most days' ends brought bitter tears.
These acid raindrops burning
for "appropriate" restraint
(five days a week returning)
to reduce, rebuke and taint -
while he begged chances for learning
told: "for you, our guidance ain't!"
Your mission thus a farce
alas, a blatant, empty promise.
Betrayal and false hope so harsh -
you DON'T ridicule the honest!!!
Seeking merely to protect your arse,
just wait: each just dessert WILL fall upon us.
I did not deserve your selfish deed.
Responsibility is YOURS!
You stab the backs of those in need,
to young AND old, you close your doors.
You've only just planted the seed:
You won the battle, not the war!
