Martin Luther . What do we do now ?

If you were here today instead of where
you are now
What would you say or do
what is it you know

The wisdom in your voice boomed
like a soft thunder
As you raised your hands
to god from way down under

But I suspect that even then
you walked across a heavenly plain
Did you know something we didn't
yes we're awaiting you're voice again

And yet we hear it in the storms
the thunder and the peaceful rains
Peace love and sharing .... pray with us
we're reaching for your hands

What we miss about you most ......you left
right here in our midst
Do we rise above ourselves and grasp it now
this love ....your greatest gift

Rest well Martin .....rest well

Absolutely awesome. I am reading it to my class. When Martin Luther King was taken from us it was truly a terrible day.

He was a man with a vision. Your questions he probably couldn't answer, but his dream is possibly coming true. I loved this Ed. Beautiful!

Voted up and beautiful. A touching and wonderful tribute to a man who was cut down in his prime, could have done so much more good and truly deserves it.
