Family Memory Journals Life The Gift of Memories Tell Me Your Story Buy Online
Memories are cherished and stories are told from family to family, generation to generation.
Memory journals are a wonderful to personalize the story as you can hand these self written stories from child to child.
Between Me and You
Between Me and You journals are a fantastic way to reminisce about life's journey with your loved ones. You give the journal to the other and have them fill it in. They then give it back to you.
Between Me and You journals are a wonderful way to keep the memories safe and within reach for story telling or to simply remember that loved one when they are sadly gone.
Some of the questions in this memory journal are:
- When were you born and what was it like that day, who was there?
- Where did you grow up?
- What are some of your biggest memories from High School?
- When did you meet Dad?
- What do you remember about the day I was born?
There is plenty of room to write and paste photos to look back and remember.
"After we are gone, this book will give our daughters a chance to really know things about their father."
Amazon Customer Review
I love these books. They are so personal. Designed in a 12-month format, each month features 12 intriguing questions with space to write a personal answer.
Questions explore family history, childhood memories, lighthearted incidents, cherished traditions, and the dreams and spiritual adventures encountered in a lifetime of living.
But the best part? It is written in their own words, making it truly special.
Kathleen Lashier Memory Journals
Kathleen Lashier has made the most heart felt and beautiful journal I have seen yet. One of the reasons I like hers best is that it is in a question a day designed format. A journal with a bunch of questions and blank pages can be overwhelming and take a long time to complete just because the writer is hesitant. This format allows the writer to answer just one question a day until completed.
The book asks questions such as, 'Tell about some good advice your father gave you.' or 'Who was the most famous person you ever met as a child?' I wish that I had thought of something like this when I was younger. My grandparents are gone and my parents are aging. Their memory isn't as clear as it once was. I have so many questions that I will never have answered and can never share with my children.
I am starting journals for my children before it's too late, you should too.
It is definitely a gift that keeps on giving.
