Merry Christmas to Lake Erie

Warm Wishes

Merry Christmas Lake Erie

Many faces and miles of separation

Men with exterior stimulation

The boundaries of countries

With the world so wide

Leaves me to sit watching

The fireside

Those flames transport me

Thousands of miles plus two

To a fantasy land where I share tea with you

My own world is hurried

New York is that way

Busy, busy, hardly anywhere to stay

Nights by the fire I pretend to be

In Lake Erie sharing tea

The music delights my senses

The tea simmering hot

Warms a creative spot

With you

Enough to get up and light up your tree

With a smile that electrifies all of Lake Erie

Merry Christmas

Hi B.A.

A beautiful poem, and I know someone on the side of Lake Erie that will love your poem.

Hey Mr. C get out of bed, B.A. wrote a poem I know you'll like.

To all of you a Merry Christmas too. I was writing cards out yesterday and found out my script writing is almost unreadable now being so bound to this keyboard. Amazing how that skill disappears when you don't use it.

I will do another Merry Christmas poem not so specified to a designation, but thanks all for reading.

...well Miss B , tears of joy are filling my eyes right now, for being able to meet, in this lifetime, someone as nice as you, and to be able to receive the loyalty and respect from you as a fan and a follower.

That is when I know that I have the grade in this life. Nothing can be better than that. And yes I would imagine my 'lake erie time' sign-off is famous at the Hub - so here I am sitting on rainy night by the lake (where it could quite easily be snow at this time of year) sending you warm wishes and good energy to an esteemed colleague and deer friend - and please get better soon Miss B, so I can breathe a little easier too - hugs from my two cats are sleeping and warm courtesy of our blowing furnance

Yes there are lucky creatures Miss B - enjoying the blow of the heat from the furnace and eating well and getting out too - I let Mister Gabriel take me for a walk today around the neighborhood - what fun he had - on his leash and totally deaf to the world - but with his dad and I was with my son.

Naturally I am here to check up on you and to see how you are feeling - I know from the way you tell me it will take some time yet to fully recover. Well one of my nicest Christmas gifts was earlier this year when I had the honor and privilege of meeting you and another Christmas present is when you finally get better - so here I am then sending good thoughts your way for a nice holiday and for better health and happiness and prosperity too for the new year.

We are getting a little bit of snow coming our way tomorrow night so it should be white by Christmas morning - Gabriel doesen't mind - he just wants to get out - imagine a white cat on white snow - and yes there is a beautiful more than half moon over the lake tonight and I have a feeling the lake itself will not freeze over this year again - let's hope - when it's a frozen lake - I call it a dead lake - I always like to see it moving - keep a touch and big hugs from Colin and Tiffy and Gabriel

Waiting for the holidays to end before I brave a new doctor. I love the holidays and am savoring every minute I can. Built a nice cat toy ripped wrapping paper set on top of their scratching post, to make a tent. They absolutely love this tent idea and play for hours. Hope Lake Erie is as beautiful as I expect and your time there as festive as can be.

Happy new year to you , dear Miss B, and in particular for your precious health is what I wish for the most, and course your happiness and prosperity too.

Big Canadian hugs from Colin, Little Miss Tiffy and Mister Gabriel - lake erie time canada 10:46am with first cup of coffee and the sun over the lake with no wind (always a good sign - the wind chill here is everything) and I don't think the lake is going to freeze over; let's hope not - I love looking at a moving lake
