Micro-Poem (No. 1) The Frustrated Writer
First in a Series

The Frustrated Writer
Sitting silent at my desk
Staring blankly at the screen
Fingers hover over keys
But no words come to be.
Writer's block, or lacking thoughts
Is my inspiration gone?
Or maybe it is just because
The power switch isn't on.
