We...
We breathe
together
Blending energies
until two heartbeats
they beat, beat, beat
as one
what is mine is yours
what is yours is mine
my thoughts, my dreams,
and my memories
bleed into you
as if your blood,
your soul, your life
beats into me
like our heartbeats
beating as one
I can hear you
I can hear your heartbeat
and I can hear your words
you touch my mind
you know my soul
tangle yourself into me
dance with me
move with me
until we blend
until we meld
until we are one
we are the music: separate instruments
with separate tunes
but as we move together
blending our notes, our ideas,
and our visions
a haunting tune that is known by many
but only played by a few
enchanting, enthralling,
and painfully beautiful
it is ours
it is mine
it is yours
it is us
as we separate
as we unfold
as we untangle ourselves
we still know, we still feel
we still understand
we still sense
one another
