Mirrors(A Poem)

Mirror Mirror on the wall
So fragile, you break if you fall

Hidden beneath your sheets,
The truth reside
So tempting the deed to look inside

Mirror Mirror on the wall
So precious unless you fall

Like a shadow,you fade when I'm gone
How scared of of the light
thou must be

Mirror Mirror on the wall
So powerful, you words leave me enthralled
Awaiting to be disenchanted

Mirror Mirror on the wall
So precious,
Yet so fragile....

Your summary has inspired me to think about how the soul and/or a person's character is like a mirror.

Beautiful, mysterious, and intriguing. For me, as a Zen practitioner who knows that the purpose of Zen is to become a mirror that reflects the truth of Life as it is, this is profound. How do I care for my own fragility as I become a clear mirror? Does the mirror reflect me, or do I reflect the mirror, giving it reality by my presence?
