Mirrors: A Poem
I see my face in the lake like a mirror,
Reflecting my visage as if I've never seen it before,
But am I the only one that can see me inside?
I wonder as I touch my face on the water,
And a ripple goes out to the other side,
Reaching out to where you are,
But you don't even notice,
You only see your own reflection,
So, you'll never see mine.
