Miss Rosa

By Tony DeLorger © 2011

The world awakens to a single soul,

a bloom unfolding, an unwritten scroll,

a spirit free in rapturous flight,

a firefly in dead of night.

She dances life like no other being,

in strength and loving thoughts to dream,

both loyal to love and free in mind,

her joy of life and smile sublime.

Fashioned at her mother’s hands

yet soul alone in nature stands,

her ways entice and feminine wiles,

reveal a soul in freedom styles.

Outpourings fast and joyful arts

exude a child in a woman’s heart,

forever changing and growing still,

her petals crisp and sunlight filled.

Beyond her struggles and challenges made,

her soul in strength of angel’s aid,

a pure and spirited creature lives,

in joy of life’s potential gives.

Miss Rosa,

for all of life’s troubles and rage,

promise me you will never change,

your dance of life is heaven made,

let no-one change your soul display.

You are free.

Love it!

A nice change to some of the dreary, lifeless poems on hubpages.
