More... an epiphany

More is the path of stillness in gratification,
the course of immersion in now, prolonged.
Awareness requires a broad perspective,
the ability to look from the outside in.
When we wallow in gratification,
we are overcome with experience
and blinded to truth.
Grasping for pleasures to prolong experience,
holds one to the immediate truth,
unable to see beyond that horizon,
and ultimately limiting life.
Rejecting struggle and the difficulties of experience,
feeds the will to seek more pleasure,
to immerse oneself only within one aspect,
and therefore propagating the belief of judgement,
right and wrong, good and bad, happy and sad.
Life is a kaleidoscope of experience,
all of which attributes to our understanding
and acceptance of vast possibilities and learning.
Holding on to the concept of 'more',
is constrictive to an open mind,
experience the variety of life's gift.
Suffering and pleasure are but an acceptance
of the same opportunity,
and to that end we should reject nothing
in our pursuit of being.
