Mother! O my Mother Sweet,

How can I express that matchless Love,

With which your embraced my being?

Your unparalleled concern and sleepless nights,

A beacon of selfless devotion;

Your Heart, a place of prayer,

For the supernal beauty of my life.

You drank my ‘scorching’ suns,

So I could shine, like the moon,

And from your Soul took away the whip,

Thus bearing silently, the pains of my ingratitude.

Beloved Mother you who gave birth to my longing;

Yet released my soaring wings,

So I could find meaning on this sojourn.

How I love you so!

Like nature, your Heart bleeds and sacrifices,

So I can fly, like an eagle, to be free.

Mother, you are my heroine and God alone,

Knows how much you mean to me!

Gratitude… Pranams! Salutations for the memories…

For unconditional Love from you.

A Heart of roses

Source

O virtuous-patience-guidance, dear beloved of my Heart!

My divine pride in you, surpasses that of the paramour,

Having found his most peerless pearl,

In the depths of the vast ocean.

You kissed my sadness, sucking away

Every drop of tainted sorrows; of thorns;

Erasing the veil of darkness, to bring me Light Divine.

Dearest Jewel of mines, I Love and would continue

To Love you, always. Your son,

Kingsley.

Beautiful honor to your mother. Congratulations on being with HubPages for 7 years. It is a blessing to have found you here. Indeed, through HubPages we are among some of the dearest people on earth.

Thank you, my Dear One. Better? How is the business going?

You're very quick here and I appreciate you being first. Seven Years? Who would have thought so? let me make it to 400 Hubs and then stop to focus on my books. How is the other? How far have you got? Do you like and understand it?

Hey, here's an idea, send me some really positive and inspirational things on America. ceeccil@hotmail.com

I'm writing a 'My America.' Hub so we can co-author this one. Right? Much Peace.

You are very kind, Manatita. I am happy to share my thoughts about America. No need to add my name to the article. I am honored, nevertheless, that you would think to include me. But, it's just one friend talking to another, OK?

By the way, I am still taking it easy because of health issues and everything is going to be alright. At least that is what I am training my brain to believe. Business is slowing down, but that is not a problem because I need the break and I decided I would fully retire as of January 31, 2017. I already sent out a notice to clients.

I do like and understand your book because your style of writing is pleasant and helpful. It is as if you are writing to me directly, although I know you are writing for all. I read Chapters 10 and 13, plus much more. I read a chapter daily as part of my spiritual reading plan.

I will think of some things that are inspirational about America and then send email to you soon.

It's been a pure pleasure knowing you, my brother. I'm lifting a toast of apple juice to many more years of us working side by side, creating "masterpieces," adding to the beauty of this world.

Thank you for your friendship!

Well, well, My Brother-Friend, the bones are tired. (chuckle) I need rest. Lol.

A very charming thing to say and I lift my Chalice of celestial wine to you too, Bro. You done great! As some would say. Actually, I can turn your story into a masterpiece! You should write an autobiography, then you will definitely be the world's 'greatest unknown writer.'

I like to laugh, Bro. Don't mind me. Gratitude ... much.

Thank you, my Sweet Marlene. Actually, I came home quite tired, so I can empathise more. Three and a half months to my 65th and so I'm thinking of retirement too, especially when the body ache's.

Stress or exciting drinks and things can trigger your situation, so go easy on the work. I suppose we do need money, but perhaps Mr Trump will lower taxes. Ha ha. (Just squeezed that one in.) Anyway, increase the Love for Him and where you can, be gentle on your self. Guruji teaches that before it leaves the body, each Soul feels that it has wasted time.

I continue to pray for your good health. Sometimes there is really not much more we can do but leave it in the hands of our Maker. She knows best. I await your input. Much Love, my Dear Friend.

For myself, it is Diwali festival here on Sunday, 30th October. It is 2:30 pm just now, Saturday. And, I am going to view a film with my son at 7:30 pm. in the Hindi language titled "Shivay". Thanks again and wish you a fine Saturday and Sunday.

So happy for you! Enjoy your film with your son and a very Happy Divali. You said something about the wife once. I do not wish for sad memories, but did you say that she passed? Thanks for the Australian info. Once again, HAPPY DIVALI! I went to find this poem for you, but your name is already there. So I'll dedicate something different tomorrow. Anyway, just in case you wish to read it again and share with friends:

Yes, in heaven and perhaps at the funeral. I really cried, Bro ... I cried. Some say that the Buddha was one of the world's wisest men. All sentient or ephemeral things are transitory, he said. Nothing lasts. Seek Nirvana.

So she finally went. Bless her Soul in Heaven.

Thank you so much, my Dear Friend. I appreciate your hearty congratulations. About the weekend, my Spirit is not disturbed, but my tummy is. I seem to have ate something wrong on Thursday and was feeling it by Friday morning.

I always speak about self-effort and Grace as twin friends. So I'm taking some things with the advice of friends and it looks - God's willing - that I'll be better tomorrow. Let us hope.

Dear Manatita. I just loved your remembrance and tribute to your mother. She seems alive in you. The flowers and the wonderful song, “Endless Love” fit your tribute perfectly. I’m listening to the music right now. Have always loved it, but haven’t heard it recently.

I agree with Siddhartha that sentient, ephemeral beings are transitory. That’s a major trait that makes them/us alive. Were it otherwise, it would just be static to begin with and so would have already stopped or ended being alive. Life moves, changes and fulfills its durations, then it is gone as it was and is transformed, perhaps. It feels that those who ‘were’ with us in this life still communicate with us beyond this life here. It ‘rings true’ to me. Perhaps that’s part of the essence of Nirvana.

My mother would fit more than one of the choices, plus some that weren’t included. I checked ‘Unconditional Love’, which was absolutely her essence to me.

Congratulations on your 7th year here on Hubpages. My 7th will arrive next March. My 85th here on Earth will have arrived about a month prior to that! All time, duration and place landmarks, - and comparisons, - are rather relative, aren’t they? It’s the quality more than the quantity when they’re in progress which counts! The quality shines and resounds in your beautiful poetry! So uplifting!

And so thoughtful of you to mention all of us individually who love and enjoy your work and your friendship! Thank you!

Hope your tummy quietens down. Pamper it so it can!

Nellieanna, a very sweet and charming last statement. It's Sunday morning here and I'm a bit better. I awoke with a message of Light in my head, so I turned it into a poem for my Indian Friends. It's Diwali, after all. (Festival of Lights) I wrote one on Forgiveness but I have put it on hold.

Thank you for your excellent sentiments about mom and the wise sayings of the Buddha. I feel happy to know and do believe that your own mother was an absolute gem also. You're February born, I know. I'm the same but my date is about 8 days ahead of yours. I think that we are both Aquarians. Isn't that beautiful???

I look forward to celebrating with you, God's willing, in 2017, the time when I will reach pension age. Hurray!!! (Actually, I can see myself working. Such is my Dharma in this life) Until, my Sweet. Let us place our heads at the feet of the Omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent Love. Jai to your benevolent Spirit!

P.S. I keep forgetting to mention your fingers and hand. Are you better now?

Manatita, my bro. You remembered quite right. My wife passed away 4 years ago and I informed at one of my comments that I celebrated her 4th death anniversary on 9/10/2016. There is already a hub "... A tribute to my wife" posted by me one year back. Though it is unfeatured, I linked it in my spotlight hubs.

Thanks bro, and before I forget, HAPPY DIWALI!!! I awoke a.m with a poem for you guys, and although I had written one for you, I changed my mind as this one is more appropriate. It's called Ode to the Light. Happy Diwali for My Indian Friends. You may have seen it by now.

My commiserations or condolences with much Joy to you and son. Hope you enjoyed the movie. Om Shanti!

Congratulations! Within those seven years, you have given much of yourself through your unique poetic expressions. Your themes of longing and fulfillment, darkness erased by light, and the love of God embracing and healing the seeker have been encouraging and inspiring. You also write excellent prose. Such a wonderful way to honor your mom. Congratulations on your Hubaversary. Well done . So glad to have you among my friends. Always look forward to your wonderful poetry. Thanks Rasma.

I treasure your idea. Bill speaks of Niume and others too. Frankly, I wish to focus on Blossoms of the Heart, My Guru, Sri Chinmoy: Life And Teachings, plus Maxims For Our Children: A Look At The Teachings of Jesus, The Christ. I also have other books in mind.

I come here and remember my Friends and it's like an addiction. I keep writing poems also, not like an addiction, but they keep coming. I actually have another two to post, but I'm holding back. However, all this to say that I think I will take a rest at number 400 with my Hubs.

Then I'll focus on the website and books. I',m still working at nearly 65 and so I would need to cut down on something. I truly appreciate your thoughts though. Later, perhaps, and I know that Jodah also has a site too. Much Gratitude.
