Mr. Wood and his pair of spectacles!
Mr. Jeremy Wood
got in a very bad mood
His pair of spectacles he could not find
His wife said ‘Take it easy,
You see I am so busy
I can’t help you now , please don’t mind.
Just cool down my dear,
Finish off that glass of beer
Try to think where it could go!’
Mr. Wood said ‘ I can think no more,
it is in the house for sure
But exactly where I don’t know’.
Then he called his son from bed
’ Wake up John, help me instead,
Look for my specs my dear’
John looked at his daddy, said with fun
’ Do you really think it is on the run?
It could well be not far but very near’
John ran , whispered to his mummy,
She smiled and said ‘well that is so funny!’
Their laughter they could not hold
Mr. Wood said’ I haven’t got a clue ,
What is the matter between you two?
Allow the reason of your laughter to unfold!’
John took hold of daddy’s hand
near the mirror made him stand
Said ‘Now watch yourself what you see!’
'Wow, my specs it is so great !
Yes, I had pushed it up on my head
John you have truly delighted me’
John felt happy he could help his dad
A few minutes ago his daddy looked so sad
But now he has smile on his face.
Mr. Wood hugged and kissed his son ,
Said ‘this is a lesson for us all john
To keep things always in place’.
