Romance Writers I Love

Here is a review of my favorite romance novelists. I like to read all kinds of books: mystery, sci-fi, and mainstream bestsellers. But I must admit I have a weakness for Romance novels.

In my opinion, here are the best.

You can't go wrong with a book by Nora Roberts. She has the ability to make believable and sympathetic characters. Some of my favorites are:

Born In Triology: Born in Fire, Born in Ice, Born in Shame - The stories of the three passionate Concannon sisters.

Gallaghers of Ardmore Trilogy: Jewels of the Sun, Tears of the Moon, and Heart of the Sea - Welcome to the Irish Pub where magical things happen, including love.

Time and Again: Time Was/ Times Change - A love story of a time-traveller from the future stranded in the present.

Jude Deveraux's stories have very believeable characters that you will find yourself rooting for. She mixes humor, sadness, and romance to make a story that is hard to put down.

A Knight in Shining Armor - I have read this book again and again. I love that it combines historical with contemporary romance.

The Summerhouse - A story of three friends who get to relive three weeks from their past.

Karen Marie Moning combines supernatural or fantasy with romance. The fairies or fae in her stories are not little flying creatures;they are big sexy men.

Highlander Series - These historical romances follow a clan of Druids. My favorite character in this series is Adam Black (or Puck). His is a muscular, sexy, fairy bad-boy that likes to interfere in the lives of the humans.

Fever Series - These books has a contemporary setting, but still contain the mystical fae.

Dara Joy's novels have sexy space aliens in them.

Knight of a Trillion Stars (Matrix of Destiny) - This is the first book in this series.

Rejar - 2nd in the series and my favorite. Rejar is a Familiar who can change himself into a cat. This character is sex personified. Hot! Hot! Hot!

I didn't think I would like a Western until I picked up 'The Man From Stone Creek' by Linda Lael Miller. Her books are clean, with little sex, but still the romance keeps it interesting.

The Man From Stone Creek - A lawman posing as the local schoolteacher falls in love with the beautiful and headstrong clerk from the general store. This book has lots of western action with a train robbery and a big shoot-out. But the sweet romance was what kept me reading.

Montana Creeds: Dylan, Montana Creeds: Logan, Montana Creeds: Tyler - This series has three books about cowboy brothers Dylan, Logan, and Tyler, who want to keep the ranch going strong and the ladies that steal their hearts.
