My Beautiful Cat Girl

Tussan
Tussan

Together

Wearing a black coat

with that creamy white underneath

I hear you coming

It's so quiet

and nobody else is around

As you lay beside my pillow

with your engine running

I know why life is sweet

That body of yours

makes me warm

Your eyes are green

and you nose is pink

She is my little love

It's me and her together

Sitting in a quiet house

And we can just hear the clock ticking

For a little while

we can be together in the silence

My beautiful cat girl and me

I have a confession Made; I'm not fond of cats and yet they absolutely love me, which I find quite odd. Anyway, there is one thing cats do that has the greatest effect on me: when I am laying on the couch trying to nap our cat will always lay down next to my head and the purring is like a sleeping pill..I love the sound of that gentle purr. Anyway, I loved your poem and I really am trying to like cats more.

Bill, you can't help that you don't like cats, but I'm happy that you're trying. This cat is just with me when nobody else is around. She is special. I have three purring cats. Imagine the noise they make! :)

iamaudraleigh, I'm sorry to hear that. I lost some cats many years back, when I was still living at my parents' house - some were driven over by cars. :( Thank you for commenting.

This is a lovely poem and your words describes how it is to have a cat in the house. It is a great comfort to have a cat sleeping beside you and the purring gives such a homely feeling! I have only one cat now and she always want to sleep in my side of the bed:) Tussan looks so secure where she sits! Voted up, beautiful and more

Thank you thougtforce, Tussan likes being with me. She hides when people come to visit us - especially if it's noisy children. I appreciate your voting and your comment. :)

The picture of your beautiful cat caught my eye because she looks so much like our Charlie Raisin. He also is black with a white belly, black legs but white paws and his face is half white and half black. I can very much relate to your special bond with your cat. Beautiful poem.

Hi cardelean, Charlie Raisin is a great name for a cat and if he looks like my Tussan, he must be sweet. Thank you!

Hello MADE - I had such a laugh back there at my hub with your comment that I almost had a stroke and I have high blood pressure so I'd better be careful but that said this is such a lovely heartfelt poem because my two best friends in the entire world are Little Miss Tiffy and Mister Gabriel, my two cats, so in your honor I will do two things: 1. follow you with my pleasure as you are a wonderful writer and 2. change my avatar back to my cat picture of myself and Little Tiffy - sending warm wishes and good energy to you from ontario canada - lake erie time 3:40am

Epi, now I don't know if I can comment on your hubs anymore if I cause you a stroke. I'm glad to see you and Tiffy again. Thank you so much for following me. It's an honor.

Oh, Madeleine; how wonderful are these words...you really do

SEE how beautiful these creatures are and KNOW what warm companion your kitty is and can SHARE these feelings with us....I hope all out there who have not, yet, learned about the love and relationship with our feline friends will read this and consider...."hmmmm, maybe I'll just adopt a cat from a shelter...maybe two!!!" Thank you Made...beautiful awesome useful interesting, lovely, kind, generous and TRUE!!!!!

Lucky Cats, I think this is something only "cat persons" can understand. One of my cats has five kittens right now. They are just five days old. I can sit and watch them for a very long time and forget about everything else around me. Thank you for your nice comment. :)
