My Covenant With Love. A Sonnet to MarleneB
With Love and Beauty from My Heart to Yours Marlene, The Spiritual Heart.
I strive to fly, like a butterfly,
To live like the horizon …like a rainbow,
Somewhere between Heaven and Earth.
My Heart pines in its aloneness,
And I have made a covenant with the nightingale,
Borrowing the sweet songs, that serenade Thy presence.
O Love, here in this ascended realm of Light and Beauty,
I pluck scarlet tulips from Your lips,
As the orchids of my Heart reciprocate their fragrance.
Come! Cascade Your garlands of diamonds to infinitude;
While weaving a symphony of Your musical rhythms,
Swaying and waltzing in my intoxicated Soul.
Cute Lover, today I have tasted the Chalice of Thy heavenly wine;
I’ve become dazed in a maze of delightful meadows, calling out Thy name.
