My Dope/ MY Opium

Opium Poppy

Drowning in my world of trance, sedated from everything that preys on my weakness

With warms creeping into my body, claiming a twisted world of thirst and madness

Feeling that sensation of indifference take over by body losing balance

And with that intricate needle of mine I have taken the final stance

Crowned with red silk on a body fit for a tulip

You make me dance under the moon and strip

In my own trance I reside bowing craving

With the heat and the warmth desirable yet tormenting

Drowsy with emotions, conflicting yet residing in my own world

The dope drives me off the edge restrains my eyes all blurred

Dizzy craving for the rush you feel, the lack of emptiness

Yet with it resides the self inflicting madness

You make me crave like a vampire fixated

And in your color I see my own body mutilated

And if you walk down the road to attain her heart you will mislay

Your sanity as well as your will to refrain she will slay

It hurts when reality kicks in, but for those few moments I am yours

I am strong enough, yet weak to fight the temptations of a world so coarse

Pink petals restraining the world in its fist

Growing into a bud that molds a world of mist

Then the flower grows to take over the eternal craving

Mixing the Dope with the eagerness of man, working

Creating a world of haze clouding the sanity of your mind

Restraining the mind and turning your conscience blind

Soon you will be its slave, a slave to that pretty red color

Only seeking yet straying away from it like a man chasing an odor

Like water slipping through your fingers your life will turn out of control

And soon you strike and hear the raging drums of death, you’re on death roll

I drift in hours of consciousness minutes of self-induced sleep

Then the cold sets into my body and soul, feeling it creep

The emptiness that is what you will finally reap

Momentary seduction that leaves the body craving yet aching

The kick drives the body in frenzy like a lover in the winter night freezing

Indeed you are treacherous, devious like the dark twisted queen of demons

That seduces the purest priest to her bed then with him sinned abandons

For you have cast my body into the flames of nothing but filth

Should I call you my misters or should I claim you to be Lilith

In this entire buzz I don’t know whether to claim your body into mine

Or should I refrain, control my hunger, and end your reign?
