My Heart's Attune

Source

whisper sweetly, precious muse...
my pen awaits your rainbow hues.
patiently, my heart's attune
with thee, now, I would commune.

tarry not, mine inspiration...
longs my soul to be your voice.
giving wings to heart-bound treasure
it is here that I rejoice.

with new eyes I seek your presence.
my spirit beckons, come to me.
i now seek your purest essence,
to pour and sip your sweet Chablis.

whisper soft, my precious Muse...
my pen awaits your bidden cues.
listening, my heart's attune...
with thee, now, let us commune.

...this is pure poetry and the use of some words I've never ever seen before - kinda makes the epi-man seem like an illiterate neanderthal ....... and you write like the finest French pastries with Vienesse cream on top - simply and profoundly hubdelicious!!!!!!

Lord have mercy, Epigramman! You couldn't be further from illiterate or neanderthal if you tried, my friend!!! But your comments are like sweet sweet wine! Make me light headed!

Eiddwen, thank you. Saddlerider left a comment on one of my other writes about awaiting his muse to speak to his inner child, which gave birth to this piece, hence the dedication, and the picture that goes with this poem. It is truly an honor to share what has been freely given to me! Thank you for being a part of that!

A beautiful way to explain writers block...like a prayer...I will use this when I get hung up, for inspiration...I love it!
