Set The Mood Quick

I’m taking a stab at writing two sentence horror stories. The subject matter was not my idea. I came across the brain challenge by a follow hubber, shtrigha. I would like to know what you think of my versions….

WITH ONE EYE OPEN

Jeff’s guilt kept him awake; his truck collided with a boy trying to chase his ball and he didn’t stop. Jeff heard a faint tapping noise, the dead boy’s bloody ball slowly rolled out from underneath his bed.

KNEE DEEP CREEK

It has been said, that a hundred years ago, a fisherman panning for gold was robbed and murdered. It has now been confirmed if you pan for gold in his creek, he will cast a hook in your jaw and pull you under until you drown.

BIG RIG

A drunken truck driver brutally rapes a waitress and leaves her for dead. Fifteen years later he finds a note at his doorstep that reads “I’ve got your wife and unborn son”.

BLEEDING JUSTICE

After a corrupt cop slaughters an elderly man, his family is stalked by the dead man’s late wife. His late wife was a ruthless judge.

BRAIN FOG

“Ellie, this fog is too thick…we must pull over”, her husband softly spoke while they were on the way to the Neurology Institute. He then bludgeoned his wife to death with a flashlight because he didn’t remember her.

TEAM SPIRIT

A college basketball player accidentally killed during a hazing incident, vows revenge on those who failed to help him. Once the dribbling begins…there is no where to hide.

TO DODGE A BULLET

"You shot me point blank six times in the head, How come I'm still alive !”, he cries.

“Your not and neither am I", she laughs

THE MISSING MAN

“You hung him, didn’t you”, the Sheriff asked while twisting his mustache.

“I swear on my horse, his body was here a second ago”, the henchman whispered.

X MARKS THE SPOT

Libby celebrates her divorce at a bar when she meets an attractive man to sleep with. In his bed the next morning, she realizes she is bleeding and that is when she finds her female organs in a zip lock bag labeled “compliments of the ex”.
