My Tiny Toddlers :: A Poem

Love in their innocence
Love in their innocence

Inspired by my Tiny Toddlers, my life :) Aug11

The phone's ringing...

...the cooker's whistling

...the baby's in the crib

...the 3yo stands demanding

...the time is running

...I've got my hands full...so full...

...I got a bun in the baking

But I have love for more...

Each day is different

...we watch the telly

...we lap up loads of milk

...we make a yummy mess

...we have piggy back rides

...we sing our nursery rhymes

...we dance, we fret, we yell

...and get cranky...ohhh dont ask...yes CRANKY!

...I've got my hands full...so full...

...I got a bun in the baking

But I have love for more...

Story times are the best

...as much as the dessert

...as much as the Mickey Mouse show

...as much as the reward charts

...as much as a new toy

...as much as a bottle of milk

...ok, maybe not as much...as...

...when Papa's back home from work!

...I've got my hands full...so full...

...I got a bun in the baking

But I have love for more...
