NEO-SAPIENS

NEO SAPIENS

At the top of the food chain,

All is attainable.

And the grossest behavior,

Is politely explainable.

.

Sound bytes and euphemisms,

Are the tools they use.

But it all boils down,

To merely a ruse,

.

And the sounds bite,

And resound in an ugly chord.

Honesty is an asset,

That none can afford.

.

Aspiring to be,

The conquering male,

He imprisons himself,

In an inescapable jail.

.

She’s the epitome of woman,

I suppose,

Wearing her horizon,

On the end of her nose.

.

.

Evocative of my thoughts today in the wake of the disaster visited by Hurricane Sandy upon those places that short-sighted Sapiens should have left undisturbed. Well said.

Yes, the true top of the chain is so presented and much more intelligent than lowly humans, who would destroy the whole world and themselves in the bargain. Thanks for sharing. whonu

Micky Dee - so nice to see you,

This is profound and also true.

Is Armageddon what we're coming to?

The chimp looks wise but what can he do?
