Never Mine

By: Phoenixx Vann Der Snatsch

Sacrafice this once

Your bitter-sweet victory

Of revenge and regret.

Savor this moment

The laughs you may

And the tears you may

Tell me again

Why I'm always

Thrown to the wolves.

Tell me again

Why you can

Always make me cry.

Tell me again

Why you control

Me as such.

I am not a slave.

I am not a robot.

I am not your mistake,

But you are mine.

Forever and for always,

Known to exist as a

Imagination working

To enslave me.

Yet you are not mine.

Never shall you

Be called

This poem is deep and can be interpreted by many people many ways. Your longing and feeling in the poems gives the effect of a girl trying to reach a broken man. A man she loves but is mad with power. Please read some of my poetry when you have a chance. I like to see others view on the world.

A world of such pain,

crying bloody rain.

Tasting life in death,

without anything left.

I am lost inside of fear,

wishing your love was here.

Fading deeper into light,

without love, without eyes.

Who am I alone?

Am I anything worthy?

Does your heart find my beautiful?

Can I ever hold your soul in my fiery eyes?

Take me away,

I can't see.

Let me die,

I can't breathe.

Hold me down,

so I can fall.

Let me up,

make me crawl.

Within your eyes a light,

darkness calling dreams.

Within my lips true night,

beyond what eyes can see.
