No Place For You, A Poem
No place For You
Her observing sore eyes, sway from side to side
watching you with a ready tongue.
It`s her ambition to set fire with her words,
my heart has learnt to open the door and leave.
Why can`t she read my puppet face?
beautiful times wrapped up in murder,
oh my pretty pink flowers,
you have sprayed with black!
My soul no longer waits in line for you,
my heart wears a shield in your presence.
For you`re no longer of the same blood,
Instead a pirate after my treasures!
Years will go by and I will speak truth,
but for now let my soul rest in disrespect for you.
You never cared deep enough for me to care
you remain a conditional giver that I resent today.
