No Purchase Necessary

Updated on April 26, 2011

 No purchase necessary.

How many time have we seen or heard those words, or come across them in advertisement, especially those junk mails.

Manufactures and big businesses is always finding ways of enticing us to spend money. Money we cannot afford in these hard times.

The online casino is the guiltiest of them all, always offering money to sign up and play on line, no deposit, have you ever wonder why honest folks are being hook in the hall of shame, it's because of those small hidden word "No purchase necessary"

Buy now and pay later and in the long run you might be heading to bankruptcy court.

Sweepstakes and contest have been the main support of the marketing arsenal , but they can create. legal, issues for promoters.

A well know company McDonald use the "No Purchase necessary tactics to increase sales and profit, its attracts customers from their competitors enticing customers into buying more for instant the well known game "Monopoly, lot of prizes to give away.

No purchase necessary have been branching off to the "No experience necessary for some high skill jobs in advertising in recent years, however, some experience would be necessary when entering the work field, especially those entrepreneurs businesses.

Unlike the "No sex necessary until marriage books.... on the market, it is necessary to engage into a sexual moment, before the big day, precaution to the safe side of matrimony.

I often wonder who in their right mind would marriage someone before they sample the merchandise.

Some website even offer free stuff, with no purchase necessary, however, if it sound  that good, (it is too good to be true) it is always a hidden agenda.. like the surveys, and just as you are about to click on the enter buttons up pop the form asking for your name, address, phone number, before you can get those free items...

No purchase necessary.. it should be necessary for us  not to be taken for a ride.

Beware of the risks, by following the sweepstakes and contest law, never gave out your social security number or home phone number, online of over the phone.

What are these companies up too?  I guess to make a mockery of you.

Just  remember fool me once, do not let them fool you twice.

The Federal Communication commission has a section in its rules called the Lottery Law"

Under the Federal Law lotteries are illegal not the states or multi-states lotteries, those are okay, under the lottery law,

Three lottery question.

Is a prize being offered?

Is there chance involved in the selection of the winner?

Does you have to buy something to enter a contest.

This is called the consideration by the FCC

So buyer beware..
